Our Story

Let me share a glimpse into my journey and the roots of my business, which revolves around my deep connection and passion for dogs. From collies to spaniels and labs, dogs have been an integral part of my life.

The turning point came in 2022 when I faced a challenging time with my beloved Diesel, a magnificent black German Shepherd. His battle with a neurological disorder cut short his beautiful life at just 11 months. Coming to terms with the loss of the companion I raised while expecting was a profound emotional journey. Yet, from that grief emerged a newfound passion to delve into the intricacies of canine knowledge.

Determined to make a positive impact, I immersed myself in canine first aid, excelling with flying colours. I then went on to study and complete my Level 2 Canine Care and Welfare qualification in just 6 months, all while juggling being a mum to my wonderful 3 children. My next aim is to become a qualified canine behaviourist. I feel if we understand our canines fully, then we all have a much smoother life together. Enter Jesse, my 2-year-old phenomenal Border Collie, who not only became my new canine companion and best friend but also the face of my business.

Jesse’s welcoming nature knows no bounds—he opens his home and heart to almost every dog, treating them as cherished members of the family. His sociable demeanour reflects the values I hold dear. Jesse, in all his cleverness and maturity at just 2 years old, is a testament to the hard work and dedication invested in his upbringing.

I’m not alone on this journey; my partner, my bestest human friend and three wonderful children, equally enamoured with dogs, are integral members of the team. They share in the responsibility, displaying a genuine love and respect for our furry guests. In the realm of Dani’s Dog Boarding, we approach each dog’s needs with utmost seriousness. Whether it’s space or cuddles, we tailor our care to suit the individual preferences of our canine companions. My reviews on social media shine in what matters most to me.
